A NOTE OF GOODS PRAISED.

caused said goods to be proclaimed three Mondays, one after the other, ac- cording to the custom of this City, time beyond man's memory, and at her request authorize John Brookes, John Parker, John Huethson, goldsmith, and Annis Lymbericke, or any two or three, to view said goods and praise them according to equity, and certify unto us of them, and every of them, as you rate, against next Court day following the date hereof. Dated 28 Jan., 1632.

By virtue of Mr. Maior's warrant unto [us], directed for the praising of the above goods, we have accordingly done with their several rates there- unto adjoining. Edmond is sworn free paying 4 nobles, in regard he was a Sheriff's son. Christopher Walters fz. Robert do. paying 5 nobles. 16 .April. James Gould fz. Perish do. paying 20s. John Gould fz. Morish do. paying 20s. John Roche fz. Edward do. paying 13s. 4d., being eldest son of a Mayor.
