19th Century Cork Sutton Mariners, Sailing Ships and Crews

Additional information:

The provenance is not certain here: could be blending two ships called Kitty : a sloop built in Ireland in 1800 and a schooner built in Dungarvan in 1801 owned by Gymlett of Youghal.

Captain Charles Fortune was previously Mate on Kate Kearney .

Mate John Flynn and Seaman John Flynn: these two, from geographically close locales, are possibly the same man recorded in different sources. The Dungarvan Flynns would almost certainly be related, since their mariner list numbers are consecutive. The proximate Certificate (3003) number of John Flynn from Ballinacurra suggests a family link to the Dungarvan mariners.
