Fate of ship:

On the 8 May 1865 the ship sprang a leak and was beached in the Aran Islands, Co Galway. She was on a voyage from Newport-Pratt, Co Mayo to Penarth, Glamorgan. She was re- floated on the 13 May and taken to Galway for repairs (List of Shipwrecks - Wiki). The ship (Reg. 33229) is the only one of this name in CLIP and in IMNCL records, which document her activities 1863 – 8 but lack any report for 1865. The whole crew were paid off in July 1868, which I suspect then signalled the end of her service. This ship traded at various Cork ports as well as Liverpool, Runcorn and Newport. Captain John Healy earned his Master Certificate in 1856. He carried out prior service on many Cork ships. Captain John Flavin was previously an AB Seaman on George Sutton’s Reward under Captain Benjamin Reynolds (b.1834, Passage West).
