Introduction The present document contains transcriptions of items from the resource pack which may be difficult to read because of the handwriting or the condition of the typescript. Teachers and students may wish to use these transcriptions while working through the documents or, alternatively, the transcriptions may be referred to when checking or correcting work. Accordingly, there are generally no hyperlinks from individual documents to this ‘Transcriptions’ document. Published or clearly printed items, and items in formats difficult to transcribe (eg, 1912 Titanic ledger, 1917 Innisfallen ship plan), have not been transcribed.
