Scope and Content: Letter with respect to Fawsitt’s application for vacant post of Lay (Land) Commissionership. Fawsitt takes issue with Connolly’s letter stating the appointment is the matter of the cabinet: ‘is my name taboo at cabinet meetings?’. Fawsitt believes the current government have ‘long since approved’ of his reinstatement to the civil service.
