Technical information about Innisfallen, 1939. Built in 1930, this Innisfallen was the second ferry of the name to operate between Cork and Britain. Her predecessor, built in 1896, was torpedoed in 1918 during World War I. This Innisfallen suffered a similar fate, striking a mine near Liverpool in December 1940 during World War II. (CCCA U370 )
