Cargo vessel at Anderson’s Quay, Cork, c.1930s. Motorised transport and horse drawn carts can both be seen on the quayside. J.W. Green & Company were important corn merchants in the city. In the background can be seen the Custom House and, beyond, the tall grain silo belonging to R. & H. Hall Limited, major importers of grain and other products.(CCCA)
