He is acqainted with Dr.Ball who will give any information he may possess, including a MS. of his fathers for a History of Youghal which was intended for deposit in TCD Library. Refers to Mr. Nevin's tales of the Youghal Volunteers, and Duffy's library. (3pp)

2. 29 Nov 1855 As above. Requests particulars about the "Youghal 'Volunteers' ". Do not fear to be a patriotic as you please in telling me about them.' (1p)
