2. 28 Jul 1859 MS. note on behalf of Lady Beecher, Ballygiblin, send compliments due to Dowden's kind offer to admit a poor blind person into the Cork Asylum, and encloses a note from a 'very interesting poor Boy', who should be admitted. (2pp) 3. 1 Sep 1859 MS. letter on behalf of Lady Beecher presenting her compliments. She is sorry that there is little chance of the blind boy being admitted as a resident with the Blind Asylum, suggests ways he might be admitted, and undertakes to pay 30 shillings for his outfit.
