Cork Union, City of Cork Electoral Division. Richard Dowden, Brown Street, mineral water manufacturer, property at Princes Street, house of Michael Collins. (1p) 20 Feb 1844 Handbill for a grand dress ball and concert at Mary Street Temperance Hall by the Cork Amateur Philharmonic Society and St. Patrick's (Mallow Lane Band) in aid of the Hall. With programme of pieces to be performed, also professional dancing and a Naval Hornpipe by two infant prodigies. (1p)
