10 Aug 1832 Kinsale Election. Address to James Ludlow Stawell Esq., from the Independent Electors of Kinsale. Says he is '...the best and purest of Patriots...' and that they have been 'Slaves and drudges in our native Town by a cruel and cursed system of corruption....an inexorable Corporation has ruled us with a rod of iron... The Irish Reform Bill....the dawn of Liberty... has restored to us ethe sacred and invaluable right of Representation...', etc; also answer from Stawell to the electors of Kinsale, accepting 'the unsolicited offer of your suffrages', denouncing oppressive taxes and tolls, 'iniquitious jobbing', standing armies intended to support despotism, all church rates, and supporting the abolition of tithes. Mentions his opponent Mr. Cuthbert. etc. (1p)
