(1p) 2. 11 Dec 1845 Printed item, tenders received by the Cork District Lunatic Asylum Board of Governors for the site for the new Asylum, following advertisements in Cork newspapers. 16 tenders received including offer of 50 acres rent free for ever at Rich Hill, 15 miles from Cork (TG French), and 37 acres at Sundays Well held by representatives of the late Sir Anthony Perrier on behalf of the Earl of Cork and Orrery.
