Wages Books and Printouts, 1908-2000. Records of wages paid to staff, and of work completed. The earliest volumes note staff number, name, days worked, wages per day, total volume of extras (e.g., overtime), total value of week’s work, and remarks (e.g., ‘sick’). The later volumes note week, date, hours, rate amount, gross wages, deductions (income tax, PRSI, cumulative and other), net pay, and name. The Wages printouts contain related reports, including Timesheet Audit Report; Control Summary Report; Gross to Net Summary Report; Deductions Lists; and Cheque Register (this last is the most common type). Salaries and Pensions printouts follow in a separate sub-section.

On the last page is a rough list titled ‘Masons who have applied to work on New House, January 1911’. Inside the front cover is a Certificate of Registration from Midleton Rural District Council, certifying that John H Bennett of Charleston, Ballinacurra, is registered as a cowkeeper and purveyor of milk under the Dairies, Cowsheds, and Milkshops (Ireland) Order, 1908 [see B609/6/D/6 below].
