Fate of ship:

Driven ashore at Youghal, Co Cork, 23 January 1839. She was on a voyage from Youghal to London (List of Shipwrecks - Wiki). No age or country was associated with this prize ship which may be by design. She most probably dates to the start of the century and the Napoleonic Wars. Kinsale had been a Prize Port, where such ships were auctioned. # UK Nat Arch BT120 and BT112; Lloyd’s; Thuillier, Kinsale Harbour.
