19th Century Cork Sutton Mariners, Sailing Ships and Crews

Mate William Shee (b. 1849, Cork) would earn his Master Certificate (12797) in 1874. He had been confused with Mate William Shea (b. 1851, Cork; Cert: 16118) in an IMNCL record. UK M&M records clearly indicate William Shea serving on the Elisha Thayer at that time.
