This ship voyaged to Portugal in 1848.

Captain John Samuel, in coastal trade with Hinton , returned to captaincy of Welsh vessels in 1832. Captain Daniel Flaven, previously on Scott’s Orleans , would later be Master on Sutton’s Girl I Love , Nithsdale and Ocean . Seaman Thomas Flaven would sail briefly on Scott’s Orleans in 1840 and move to England, obtaining a Mate Certificate at Liverpool in 1852.

This ship sailed on the Cork to Bristol route. Ownership was listed in Lloyd’s as ‘Capt&Co’ under both captains.

Captain Jeremiah McCarthy had dates 1824 – 5 on UK M&M and engagement in foreign trade. His prior ship was the sloop Matty and he subsequently captained the 122t Browns for eleven years. His UK M&M records have since disappeared.
