This vessel (Reg: 5872) was sold 16 May 1885 to be broken up (IMNCL). Captain Rooke documented his early captaincy of the 109t Henry in 1849, while IMNCL documents him back on board briefly twenty years later in 1869. He was also documented as Mate to Captain Benjamin Eastaway for 1867 in transatlantic trade on Pim’s 226t brig, Mary & Anne .

On 19 March 1874, the brigantine foundered off St Catherine’s Island, Pembrokeshire. She was on a voyage from Neath, Glamorgan to Cork. She was re-floated on the 18 April. Moved to port of Milford 1878. Captain David Flynn was previously Mate on Henry Paterson and Master of Hinton . Captain Thomas Foley was previously an AB seaman on Sutton’s Victory of Cork and Mate on Lady Sale of Cork and Fanny Palmer of Youghal. He obtained his Master Certificate in 1874.
