Captain Timothy (Thade) Donovan (b.1805) was related to the Dempsey mariners of Kinsale, having been married to Julia Dempsey of Kinsale (see Acadia and Betsy ). Seaman Daniel Donovan was listed with two Cert numbers (Cert: 7120 and 6051). He was probably the future Captain Daniel Donovan (b.1807), whom I found later to be the Master of the C ambria of Cork in 1845 (UK Nat Arch BT98/615). #UK Nat Arch BT112; BT120; UK M&M; Lloyd’s; Sutton and Donovan Family Histories.
