On 14 June 1872, this ship ran aground on the Goodwin Sands, Kent. She was on a voyage from Seville, Spain to Antwerp, Belgium. She was re-floated and resumed her voyage (List of Shipwrecks - Wiki). This vessel was purchased by Stephen Clifford of Dungarvan and moved to Waterford in 1879. She was later reported wrecked abreast of Wise ’s Point ,
