Scope and Content: Refers to the 'treachery of the Cork Harbour Board disposing of the rock breaking plant before clearing the channel. Accuses the officials of doing 'enemy work' and he requests assistance to publicly expose this. 'British officials and backboneless renegades in Irish Boards are completely out of place just now. They are organising a series of Aireadhteanna in East Cork, but there are difficulties including providing Dáil member to address the people. Askes de Róiste to lend a hand.

Scope and Content: Thanks de Róiste for his letter to the Independent. 'Every thing seems to be going along splendidly for Ireland, its only a question of how long it will take. It amused me very much to read of England's debts and all the fuss they are making.....I wonder how much per week I cost them in Police, soldiers, tanks, etc!.....I have just about done half the time I was sentenced for'.
