Refers to the AOH members forming another branch of the Volunteers in Bantry. ‘Can this be so? or is it practicable to have two separate corps in the one town under two different committees.’ Refers to affiliation fee and the AOH refusing to attend the first meeting, addressed by de Róiste on 19 May. They are adding new members each evening and soon will have nearly 2 companies in town.
