Scope and Content: Letter referring to question from Fawsitt about his role at the Tailteann Council. Cronin states O’H (Michael O’Herlihy) has said, ‘you can look upon yourself as the “plenipotentiary” of the IDA’. Cronin mentions also that there is a proposed exhibition to be held in Cork in 1932. Sean (Sean Twomey) is still working at Fords (Henry Ford, Cork) but Dominic was unsuccessful.
Scope and Content: Letter regretting Fawsitt cannot be present at meeting of the 93rd Annual General Meeting of the Cork Chamber of Commerce.

Scope and Content: Letter outlining the views of the Cork I.D.A concerning the proposal from the Tailteann Council for an international exhibition at the RDS, Dublin. In respect of Cork, C. Harrington, Assistant Town Clerk is acting as secretary to the separate Cork exhibition committee (1932).
Scope and Content: Letter confirming Fawsitt has been nominated as a representative of the Cork Industrial Development Association on the council of Aonach Tailteann (Tailteann Games). The letter names Senator J.C. Dowdall (James Charles Dowdall), as the other representative of the Cork I.D.A.

Scope and Content: Letter thanking Fawsitt for his Christmas wishes sent to Cronin and his sister, and returning the greetings to Fawsitt. Cronin is glad to hear that Fawsitt is now busy with law work. A note records that he is forwarding a box of Thompson’s chocolates for Mrs Fawsitt’s many acts of kindness.

Scope and Content: Letter referring to a ‘cessation of activities in the Fords industry’, apparently temporary, and due to a need to overhaul machinery and extend the premises. Speaking more generally, Cronin writes: ‘the Ford boom in tractor output while it lasted helped keep other local industries busy also’. Cork has yet to elect a new Lord Mayor, however, locals believe the incumbent will not get a second term.
