Scope and Content: Letter confirming receipt of amended letter to be sent from Cronin to a Mr Ryan. The subletting of the IDA offices will reportedly save the association one third in the cost of its rent. Cronin is grieved to hear of Fawsitt’s poor health and puts it down to ‘mental anxieties’. T.P. (Dowdall) is reportedly losing business heavily since J.A.C. began marketing creamery butter. The company of Dowdall O’Mahony have a ‘rather gloomy view of future prospects in the butter trade’. Cronin confirms Fawsitt and the Senator (James Charles Dowdall) are to represent the Cork I.D.A. in the Tailteann council.
