Scope and Content: Letter from unidentified sender to Fawsitt commenting that he remains on Dail Eireann salary and is required immediately at City Hall to assist with workload of provisional government.
Scope and Content: Letter from Diarmaid Fawsitt requesting that his civil service salary be increased from £600 per annum to £1,000 per annum. Letter refers also to Fawsitt’s transfer from Dail Eireann payroll after the London peace conference in December 1921 to that of the Irish Provisional Government in 1922. Detail of Fawsitt’s duties in the civil service are also noted, as Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and General Assistant. In requesting an increase to his annual salary Fawsitt states: ‘in addition my services have been utilised by the Chairman and other Ministers’.
