1 Jan 1833 Report of committee, with congratulations on the additional comforts and advantages provided to an increasing number of subscribers to the institution and the 'numerous services it has rendered to the cause of reform, and the diffusion of every liberal principle....a rallying point of the friends of liberty, for the free and unrestrained discussion of every subject... the past year will be a memorable one in the annals of Ireland, and the Chamber... will be found to have acted no inconsiderable part in the stirring events of the time. The overthrow of an intolerant oligarchy which has long reigned...in your county... the almost utter extinction of a heartless faction...the return of the four popular Candidates, pledged...to support the cause of the people...'
