Volume titled General Statement Book, containing a weekly record of earnings from sailings. The top of each folio states 'Earnings, week ending', followed by the date. Below are fields recording individual sailings. These note Date, Vessel, To and From (ie, port); Tonnage of Cargo; Outward (goods, live stock, passengers; Inward (goods, passengers); Casualties; Weather; Was Protest noted and at what Port?; Coal Consumption; and Remarks. 'From' and 'To' ports are printed into the ledger, and include Cork, Fishguard, Liverpool, Bristol, Southampton, London, Newport, Cardiff, Manchester, and Wexford. More information is recorded regarding sailings between Cork and Fishguard and Liverpool, other sailings generally being freight only. From weeks ending 21 July to 29 October 1923 most freight sailings are recorded as 'cancelled owing to "Strike"' (ff 51-64).
