From the Niagara Herald we learn that two vessels have passed from Lake Ontario and Lake Erie through the Welland Canal: ‘… the General Brock of York and the R.H. Boughton of Youngstown. The weather having moderated from its former severity enabled this to be performed, but the celebration by the Directors it is intended to postpone till next Spring.
