Seaman:

Voyaged to New York, Quebec, Halifax, St John NB, St Andrews NB and Boston Shipwrecked in the Gulf of St Lawrence 30 May 1856, carrying emigrants from Cork to Quebec. Seventy-nine passengers and three crew lost their lives. Captain Robert Hall was among those who died of typhus at the Partridge Island quarantine station after arrival at St John NB in 1847.
