Captain Errington spent much of his career in transatlantic trade. Charles Daly described in his Particulars of Service on this 313t Cork vessel, which he captained from 1845 until she was sold in Jan 1853 (at which time he had to renew a lost certificate). The vessel is described in the 1844 Lloyds Register; the owner is not named. His first voyage of the year in 1847 was from Galway to Quebec. Lloyds, Cove Ship News, UK M&M, ‘Grosse Île’
