Pleas to show cause why an attachment should not he granted against them in a cause between Sir Saml. Rowland, Knt., Plt., and the Mayor, Sheriffs, and Commonalty, Defts. Ordered, that the Town Clerk and Corporation Agent do defend the Mayor, &c., against said application ; It., that a pension of .£20 a year be + paid Mrs. Morrison, widow of Ald. James Morrison ; 1 t., that}lf."Kent do buy 100 barrels of coals; It., that a contract be entered intowith Nich•. Keams, mason, for new paving the Main Street, beginning at the North end of the North Bridge and ending at the Grate at the South end of the South Bridge, including the paveme11:t about the Grate, and computed to contain 6397 square yards, for the sum of .£119 188. 10!d., being at the rate of 4id. the square yard, and for keeping the same in complete repair for seven years, from the expiration of one year after the day of confirming this order, at the rate of .£35 a year, the Mayor, &c., to execute a contract with said Kearns, who shall give security to be approved of by the Mayor, &c., in the sum of .£120, and he shall be bound to deliver up said streets in good order on the expiration of the contract; It., that John Warner, glasier, do paint and gild the Exchange Clock, pursuant to estimate for .£14 laid before the C. D. H., if approved. Present--Mr. Mayor, both Sheriffs; Alden. Webb, Butler, Owgan, Kent, Sir J. Franklin, Kingston, Crowly, Shaw ; Mr. Izod, Lucas, and Jackson, C. S.

Stephen's Hospital from 1 Aug., 1793, to 4 July, 1794, and one year's attendance on said Boys; It., .£15 158. 7d. to John Turner, glasier, for work done; It., .£22 98. 5jd. to Messrs.
