Ordered, that .£3 58. 7 !d. be paid Mr. George Harris, late Church Warden, for the Minister's money and Parish rate of the Mansion House; It., .£7 to George Barber, for upholsterer's work to be done in the Corpo- ration Gallery of Christ Church, pursuant to estimate, and that Sher. Johnson and the Church Wardens be overseers thereof; It., .£1118. 6d. to J obn Casey, card-maker for ·council cards furnished in Ald. Purcell's Mayoralty; It., .£4 38. 6jd. to William Alexander, High Constable, expenses in the preservation of the peace; It., 5 guineas to Sher. Johnson and Mr. Kinselagh, for clothing for Thomas Burke, who attends the public office at the Mayor's ; It., .£1 Os. 8d. to Thos. Bennett, Constable, expenses of a Sarjeant and Corporal for preserving the Peace at Cork Fair; It., that two lots of the Ground in Ca.~tle Street, belonging to the Corporation, of 21 feet and a half each, beginning at the entrance into the County Court House, be set by public Auction for 500 years, the purchaser to pay a fine of 50 guineas. That Peter William Dumas, eldest son of Peter Dumas ; Thomas Fuller, mercht., eldest son of Thomas Fuller and·Edward Riggs White, eldest son of Benj. White, gent., dec., be admitted freemen at large. lt., that the old materials of the Houses ·in Castle Street be set by auction. That William Frith, cooper, having served Thornhill Archer and James Dixon, do. ; Will. Edwd. Penrose, mercht., having served Cooper Penrose, do.; Joseph Wheeler, shipwright, having served Will. Harrington, do.; John Whitefoot, cooper, having served Robt. Eason, do.; Revd. Edwd. Henry Hoare, eldest son of Edwd.
