Hobbs and Flaherty, on account of the New Markets, be secured by the Corporation bond, carrying interest at 6 per cent. ; It., £6 ls. 3d. to Thomas White for oils and colours for S. Stephen's Hospital; It., .£16 13s. lid. to John Warner, silversmith, for work done from June, 1787, to June, 1789 ; It., that several stalls in the New Meat Markets, as the Mayor, &c., shall think fit, be set by public auction for a term of seven years, rent payable weekly, leases to be executed by the MS:J.yor, &c., with such clauses as they shall think proper ; It., that three quarters' salary at six guineas a year be paid to Mary Ballard for attending the Mayor's office and Exchange. Sheriffs Johnson and Harding were sworn of the Council Ordered, that .£25 5s. lO}d. be paid Richard Purcell, Esq., late Mayor, in \ addition to 30 guineas before ordered, for an entertainment at Blackrock ~ 1 Aug. ; It., that the ground whereon the Fish Market stands be set by public auction for 500 years ; It., .£6 6s. 9d. to Mrs. Hannah Mayberry for stationery furnished; It., that the dwelling house on the Grand Parade now in the tenancy of Joseph Morgan, be set up by public auction for 50 years, the purchaser to pay a fine of 50 guineas.
