Ordered, that the lot of ground to the front of the New Markets, between the houses of Mr. Morgan, shoemaker, and the South gateway into the Market, with liberty of building over the said gateway, be set by public auction, on the Exchange, on such day as the Mayor, &c., shall appoint for a term of 500 years from 25 March inst., and that the purchase shall in addition pay a fine of 50 guineas, and that the Mayor, &c., shall execute a lease, rent payable half-yearly.
