AN ADDRESS TO HIS MAnSTY ON HIS LATE HAPPY ESCAPE.

Present-The Mayor and Sheriffs; Alden. Wetherall, Baker, Maylor, Row- land, Travers, Owgan, Kent, Morrison ; Mr. Izod, and Rowland,. Maym: Elect. 25 .Aug., 1786. Ordered, that the congratulatory address now prepared, read and agreed' to, be presented to his Majesty, on his late happy escape from an attempt of assassination, be forwarded to our Representatives in Parliament and our Recorder, to be delivered to the Lord-Lieut., to be transmitted to his MajY. It., that £85 be paid to Mr. John Gennix, for the purchase of. his interest in a dwelling-house and concern in Castle Street, with all rights, &c., on his conveying his interest, &c. to the Mayor,.&c.; It., an annuity of £25 to Miss Ellen Morrogh, paying the chamberlain for the use of the Mayor, &c., £250. Present-The Mayor and Sheriffs, the Mayor Elect; Alden. Wetheran._ Travers, Butler, Kent, Morrison, and Mr. C. S. 21 Sep., 1786. Ordered, that £5 16s. 5d. be paid Mr~. Mayberry, her account; It., £18 18s. 7d. to Sir John Franklin, sundry small expenses paid by him at the Mayoralty House ; It., .£3 Ss. 3d. to Mary Ballard, attendance a.t Mayor's Office ; It., :£15 12s. 8d. to the Law Agent, so much paid by him to the late Dublin Agent; It., .£19 2s. 3d. to tha Law Agent for business done in Dublin.
