These rules to remain in full force until otherwise changed by this Board. That Thos. Creed, cooper, having served Andrew Hill, do.; Joseph Rogers, jun., Esq., Doctor of Physic, eldest son of Bayly R., Esq.; Thomas Spiers Gabbett, jun., gent., eldest son of Thos. Spiers G., Esq.; wm. New- .man, cooper, having served Richd. Newman, do., be admitted freemen at large. Ordered, that wm. Flaherty, butcher, shall from next Saturday have an abatement of 2s. 2d. of the weekly rent of his stall in the English Shambles. That John Lapp, jun., utercht., having served his father, John L., do., be admitted a freeman at large. We hereby approve of the erecting of Globe lamps, the number, distances, and places in the parish of the Holy Trinity, as fixed by Messrs. Geo. Sey- mour, Thos. Ordered, that an address to His Majesty for his paternal care of his kingdom of Ireland be prepared in the name of the Mayor, &c., and that Mr. Mayor, Ald. Rowland, Mr. Izod, Mr. Morrison, Mr. Dep. Recorder, and Mr. Snowe do prepare the same; It., that an address of thanks to his Excellency the Lord Lieut. for his great attention to the welfare of this kingdom be prepared in the name of the M~yor, &c., to be prepared by the above gentlemen. That Lords North and Hillsborough be presented with their freedoms in ........._./ Gold boxes for their great attention to the trade and welfare of this king- 1' dom ; It., £600 to Mr. Mayor in addition to the sum of £400 voted as his ~ Salary in C. D. H. ; It., a pension of £20 a year to Christiana, widow of Ald. Roe, dec. ; It., a pension of £20 a year to Helena, widow of Ald.
