LOANS OF ARMS TO THE GENTRY OF THE COUNTY.

for £50 to the Mayor, &c., for the return of said arms in good order; It., )I that 30 Musquets an~ 30 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to Sir James Lawrence Cotter, Bart., he passing his Bond to the Mayor for £75 for the safe return of said arms; It., that 30 Musquets and 30 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to John Hyde, Esq., he pas~ing his bond to the Mayor, &c., £75, for the safe return of said arms; It., that 20 musquets and 20 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to Robt. Hutchinson, Esq., he passing his bond to the Mayor for £50 to return said arms in good order; It., that 60 Musquets and 60 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to Robt. Hatfield, Esq., he passing his bond to the Mayor, &c., for £150 for the safe return of said arms ; It., that 30 Musquets and 30 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to Edward Roche, Esq., he passing his bond to the Mayor, &c., £25, for the safe return of said arms; It., that 80 Musquets and 80 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to Robt. Uniack Fitz Gerald, Esq., he passing his bond to the Mayor, &c., £200, for the safe return of said arms; It., that 24 Musquets and 24 Bayonets be lent out of the City Armoury to Honl. Hayes St. Leger, he passing his bond to the Mayor, &c., for £60 for the safe return of said arms. This day Mr. John Snowe was sworn Dep. Clk. of the Council. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Lawton and Purcell; Alden. Millerd, Wrixon, Maylor, Swete, Newman, Wetherall, Franklin, Rowland, Travers, Butler, Owgan ; Mr. Browne, Izod, Morrison, Travers, and Kin~ston, C. S. 14 .Aug., 1779. Ordered, that William Wily shall have liberty to arch six feet over the passage at the East end of his house, and which passage leads under Bachelor's Quay to the River Lee near the South West arch of the North Bridge, and said Wily shall have liberty to build on such part when arched, he erecting a public bog-house, and fixing steps down said passage to the River, pursuant to the plan, paying yearly 5s., and that leases be signed for 99 years. It., that £1 19s. be paid John Bass, John Cuthbert, and John Gray for 12 nights watching the City arms. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Purcell; Alden. Millerd, Philpott, Bury, Maylor, Baker, Travers, Owgan; Mr. Browne, Izod, and Morrison.
