Ordered, £20 to Mr. Mayor for an entertainment at Blackrock Castle ; It., that Mr. Mayor, Ald. 1\!illerd, Bury, and Henry W rixon, Esq., be a com- mittee to inspect Mr. Tuckey's ground on the South side of Tuckey Street, which place this Board thinks to be proper for building a l\!ain Guard house, and report what quantity of ground will be necessary for building said Guard House; It., that the quay near the l\fayoralty House be repaired, and that Mr. Mayor, Ald. 1\fillerd, and Henry Wrixou, Esq., oversee the doing thereof; It., £29 Ss. 11!d. to wm. Mahony, tyler, for WOl'k done; It., that stall No. 15 in the English Shambles be set to Tho. Hardaway, butcher, for seven years, at a rent of 14 pence a week, provided he shall live so long, and the English Meat Shambles continue where it is now; It., that stall No. 21 in the English Meat Shambles be set to Joshua Coe, butcher, for seven years, at 14 pence a week, provided he live so long, and the shambles continue where they are now; It., £2 lOs. to 1\.lr. Mayor for Hearth Money and Taxes of the }fayoralty, and mending the clock in the kitchen of same ; It., £10 to James Magrath, Clerk of Christ Church, for instructing the boys -- of S. Stephen's Hospital to sing for one year; It., 2 guineas to Madge Lane, daughter of Walter Laue, dec., who was many years sword-bearer, said l\fadge being very old, infirm, and in necessitous circumstances ; It., that William Dibbins, a poor old blind freeman, be paid 6 guineas a year instead of four; It., that £17 14s. 5!d. be paid John Busteed, printer, in full for printing work and newspapers from 27 March, 1775, to 25 March last; It., that John Busteed be no longer imployed for printing, and the taking his newspapers be discontinued. That Joshua Connor, clothier, having served John Connor, do.; Zacharias Cooke Collis, gent., only son of Revd. Wm. Collis, Clk., dec.; John Heard, clothier, having served Joseph Heard, do. ; Joseph Heard, jun., clothier, having served Joseph Heard, do.; Wm. Barry, merch'., having served Wm. Skeys, do. ; Peter Benson, merch'., having served Paul B., do.; Jacob Crawford, gent., having served James Chatterton, Esq.; Wm. Travers, mariner, eldest son of w_m. T., gent., dec., be admitted freemen at large. It., that the 'Vidow Doran, Luke Stritch, the Widow Harding, James Smith, Michl. Dunworth, and Simon Frith immediately build parapet walls. opposite their respective dwelling-houses on Allen's Quay, in the North Suburbs of this City, pursuant to Acts of Parliament.
