to 13 Sep. last; ·It., £32 to James Gregg, gent., excr. of Mrs. Greaves, dec., for one year's rent of the late holdings of John Reily, Esq., opposite the l\fayoralty House, and which were purchased by the Corporation from Thos. Butler, Esq. ; It., £24 2s. 3d. to Mr. Burgess Izod, for candles supplied from 22 Oct., 1773, to 17 Aug. last ; It. £19 5s. 8d. to Richd. Harris and J olm Franklin, Esq., late sheriffs, amount of costs they were put to in the Court of King's Bench, for an attachment by one Piersy Larn, for the return of a Grand Jury, on which they were honourably acquitted; It., 10 guineas to John J appie, high constable of this city, for apprehending divers felons, wbich has tended to preserve the public peace; It., 10 guineas to Gibbs Ross, one of the constables of this City, for apprehending divers felons, &c. ; It., 5 guineas to Margery Lane, daughter of Walter Lane, many years Swonl Bearer of this City, she being past her labour and_in extreme poverty. . .
