23 Aug., 1774. Ordered, -that the Corporation bond to George Rogers, dated 19 Nov., 1719, for £15 0, and assigned by Rogers to John Pick, and by Pick to the Minister and C. W. of S..Mary Shandon, Cork. Ordered, that the bond d'ated 16 April, 1725, for £25, be cancelled, and a bond passed: to· said Minister, &c., for £175, the amount of said two bonds, and that the Chamberlain pay said Minister and C. W. the interest of said two bonds to the day of t~· execution of the new bond ; It., £1 5s. to Mr. Wm. Coles, for a tun of Plaister of Paris; It., £10 19s. 6d. to Mr. ...._ / Edmd. Browning, for News Papers ; It., a pension of £20 a year to the ~widow of Ald. Busteed; It., that the Gateage Tolls, &c., be set ; It., that a posting be put up in the Exchange for electing a W aterbailiff for one year ; It., that a salary of £60 a year be paid the Waterbailiff (duties as usual ; It., £35 5s. 5d. to Ald. W estropp, Master of the Blue Coat Hospital, balance of his accounts to 25 Feb~ last, to be accou_nted for on the loan, &c.; It., £8 6s. 5d. to John Bast~ed,. printer, for work done ; It., that four bonds passed by the Corporation to the Minist~r and C. W. of the parish of S. Peter's, Cork, amounting in the whole to £630 at 5 per cent. a year be taken up, and a bond for said sum be passed said minister, &_c., with legal inte- rest, &c., the Chamberlain to pay the interest on said fom· bonds to day of execution of the new bond. That the Hon. George Hamilton, Es€1., H. M. third Sergeant at Law, and one of the Judges for Munster Circuit, be admitted free. It., £11 1s. Sd. to Timothy Hughes, Iron-monger, for repairing Coal Barrels; It., £35 17s. 6d. to Andrew Dalton, carpenter, his account; It., That Andrew Dalton be no longer employed, as he is grown so infirm as not to be able to attend the Corporation work. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Berry ; Alden. W estropp, Millerd, Maylor, Baker; Mr. Browne, Denroch, and Thompson, C. S. ·· 14 Sep., 1774. No business for want of a sufficient number.
