A SECOND RESERVOIR FOR SUPPLYI~U TillS CITY WITH WATER. 805 held on 23 inst., for the election of a 'Vatcrhailiff in the room of wm. Bus- teed, dec. The deed between the }.fayor, &c., and Nicholas Fitton, founder, for making a second reservoir for supplying this City with water, &c., being laid before the board~ was approved of. It., That the Corporation bond to the A!inister and Church Wardens of S. Mary Shandon, dated 26 }.fay, 1766, for £300 payable at 5 per cent., be taken up, and a bond for like sum passed to said Minister, &c. at 6 per cent. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Berry and Carleton ; Alden. W estropp, Mil- lerd, Wrixon, Maylor, Baker, Hoe; }..fr. llrowne, Deuroch, lzod and Lapp, c. s. 2 July, 1774. 1\Ir. John Thomson, C. S., was sworn to keep the secrets of t11C CounciL Ordered, that Richard Harris be appointed one of the Dep. WaterhailifTs of the City and Co. of Corke ; It., that Charles Cottrell and David Davis be appointed Dep. Waterhailiffs; It., £16 158. 2~d. to Sober Kent, in full, for his account; It., £1 128. 6id. to Francis Elmsly, 'Change Porter; It., £40 to Mr. David Bruce, one of the BUl'fJesses of this City. Present-Mr. 1\Iayor, Sher. Berry and Carleton; Alden. Millerd, Wrixon, Franklin, Maylor, llakcr, Hoe; 1\Ir. Browne, Denroch, Izod, and Thompson, c. s. 19 July, 1774. Ordered, that 1\Ir. Kent, City Overseer, buy 150 barrels of coal; It., that no boy be admitted hereafter into S. Stephen's Hospital, who shall be above the age of nine years; It., 10 guineas to Mr. John Wood, in full, for rent and repairs of the Guard House at Blackpool. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Berry; Alden.
