Ordered that the Tolls of the City be set by public cant, &c.; It., .£60 to the Waterbailiff for one year (conditions as before); It., a pension of .£10 a year to the wido:w of George Fuller. Ordered, that the Charters of this City and the old Council Book be given to the Town Clerk, to have a case stated relative to some of the rights of the Corporation, to be laid before the Recorder; It., that the Town clerk wait on Sergeant Dennis with a case relative to the late Insolvent Act ' . depending in the Court of Record of this City, in conjunction with the Recorder, and that the Town Clerk give Sergt. Dennis a fee of 3 guineas. It., tl1at 6 guineas be given the Recorder for drawing two addresses to the Government. That Benson Lawton, having served John Lawton, mer.; Henry John Philpott, gent., eldest son of Ald. Philpott; John Forster, having served James Huleatt Creed, butcher; Reyd. James Hingston, Clk., eldest son of William H., gent., dec. ; Thomas Grant, Esq., eldest son of Luke Grant, Esq., eke. ; Mathew Freeman, Esq., eldest son of Wm. Freeman, dec., be admitted freemen at large ; also the Rt. Hon. Lord Viscount P~erston, one of the Lords of the Admiralty, in a Silver Box ; and Sir William Mayne, Bart., M.P. ; Roger Connor, Esq., and Wm. COIIi.S, E~q., freemen at large.
