Whereas Mr. Kent, City overseer, hath reported that the Revd. Dean Chinnery hath made a considerable encroachment on part of the Lough ground, ordered, that Sher. Kellet, Ald. Franklin, and Mr. Snowe be a com- mittee to enquire into said encroachment, and wait on the Dean for the restoration of the ground. It., that Ald. Bustced and Mr. Kent, City overseer, do inspect the canal cutting by Mr. J. Morrison and report whether same will be injurious to the navigation of the river and rights of the Corporation. It., that a rock in the North Channel opposite the house of Mr. Moore be removed by the water bailiff. It., that Mr. Kent put the several shambles and l\farket houses in good repair; It., that .£3 13s. lid. be paid Norton Parr for brass weights, a brass fender, and tin work supplied ; It., 20 guineas to the Coroners for ono year; It., one guinea a month for six months to George Fuller who is indigent. It., that Mr. Kent buy 100 barrels of coal; lt., .£43 3s. 5d. to 1\fr. Snowe, his bill of costs; It., two guineas to Murtha Connor for summoning applotters and constables. John W rixon ; George Allen, mer., having served Goodwin Purcell, Daniel Connor, and Richd. Harris; Thomas Garde, cooper, having served George Baker, do. ; James Fisher, mer., having served Richard Pike and sons ; Thomas Andrews, mer., having served Joseph Devonshire and Thomas Strettle, do. ; Thomas Gregg, mer., having served Stephen Denroch, do. ; Richard Phillips, gent., eldest son of Ald.
