Smith, Mr. Denroch, and Franklin, C. S. 29 Oct., 1768. This day Will. Busteed, Esq., W aterbailiff, produced his accounts, &c., whereby it appears he paid the Chamberlain £158 14s. 2d. over and above aJl other expenses. Ordered, that one hundred-part share of the profits of the Water, &c., appointed to be granted to John Denroch, mer., by the Mayor, &c., be granted to William Busteed, Esq., his heirs, &c., for 999 years, from 1 June, 1767, said Denroch having declined to accept of a lease of same. It., £79 13s. 7~d. to Messrs. Phineas Bagwell and Co., for printing-work; It., £1 11s. 6d. to Richd. Evans, Exchange porter, for brooms, &c.; It., £4 5s. 4!d. to Will. Rogers, pewterer, for scales and weights ; It., 2 guineas to 1fortho Connor, for summoning the different constables and committees; It., £17 12s. 4ld. to Mrs. Mary Bussy, for candles ; It., 5 guineas to the Coroners, as a recompense for their trouble.
