ALE SUPPLIED THE ARMY ON REJOICING DAYS.

J. Smith, Philpott, Bury, Maylor ; Mr. Denroch, Franklin, C. S., Browne, and the Recorder as adviser of the Council. 28 Sep., 1768. Ordered, that £42 14s. be paid Ald. John Smith for ale supplied the army on Rejoicing days, from 22 Oct., 1759, to 4 Nov., 1760; It., £8 Os. 1d. to Timothy Hughes for iron work supplied the Waterbailiffs fron1 31 July, 1766, to 21 Feb., 17G8 ; It., £38 14s. 2!d. to Ald. Maylor, amount of costs he was put to on an application to the Court of K. B. by Michrel Crow, baker, for an attachment on account of said Maylor's, acting as Mayor of this City, fining said Crowe for light bread, and which application was dis- missed by the Court; It. 2 guineas to George Fuller, one of the burgesses, being in indigent circumstances. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. French and Lawton; Alden. Westropp, Millerd, Busteed, Philpott, Franklin, J. Smith ; Burgess Browne, Denroch, and Connor.
