GRANT OF SHARES IN TllE PROFITS OF THE PIPE WATER.

9 Aug., 1768. Ordered, that one hundred part share of the profits arising from the reservoirs, &c., pipes and water to be erected for supplying this. City with water, to have been ·granted to Robt. Wrixon, Esq., dec., be granted by the Mayor, &c., to his eldest son, John Wri.xon, Mercht. It., that one hundred part share of said profits be granted by the Mayor, &c., to the following gentlemen, freemen at large, to wit, Hugh 1\Iillerd, Esq., Nicholas Lysaght, Esq., Nicholas Wrixon, gent., and Adam Newman, jun., gent., their heirs, &c., for 999 years from 1 June, 1767, said gentlemen covenanting to pay their proportionable part of the expense of making, digging, cutting, &c., said reservoirs, &c. That a suit at law in the name of the Mayor, &c., be commenced against Norton Parr, lamp contractor for 1766, for the recovery of the money he was obliged to receive for the use of the Corporation by his contract. It., that £400 be paid Mess. James and Ebenezer Morrison, at the expira- tion of three months, in part discharge for their account for timber, &c.; It., £18 38. Bid. to Mrs. Esther Holmes for cloathing supplied the Bellmen and Exchange Porter; It., £42 88. Sd. to Timothy Hughes for iron work supplied Blackrock Castle from 26 March, 1765, to 23 May, 1767, said sum not to be paid until Ald. Wrixon and Swete certify the account to be right. It., that Ald. Westropp and Wrixon, Mr. Burgess Browne, Wrixon, and Butler be a committee to examine the accounts of Mess. James and Ebenezer Morrison, and report. It., that £11 14s. 1d. be paid Robt. Heron, cooper, for repairing coal Barrels and 13 new ones supplied. It., £11 148. to Richard Sinderbee, for weights supplied in the Mayoralties of Ald. Parks, Maylor, and the present Mayor. That no money hereafter shall be paid out of the Corporation Revenues for weights for the use of the Com Market. It., £10 08. 6d. to Roger Oulden for mason's work from 16 Nov., 1766, to 15 Nov., 1767; It., one guinea a month to George Fuller, one of the Burgesses, being in distressed circumstances.
