Westropp, Busteed, Philpott, llury, and Franklin. 25 Nov., 1767. Ordered, that £200 be borrowed at interest by the Corporation from the North Infirmary, to be paid to the O"'erseers of the 1\fayoralty House, to discharge the debts due to the inferior tradesmen; It., .£139 12s. 10d. to the Trustees of S. Stephen's Hospital, to pay Ald. Westropp, 1\{aster, the ballance due to him 1 May, 1766, to be accounted for on the loan of £920 formerly borrowed from the trustees of said Hospital, for building Skiddy's and Bretridge's Alms Houses. That Alden. Bury, Wetherall, Franklin, and 1\fr. Burgess Browne be a committee to state the accounts of S. Stephen's IIospital and Skidey's and Bretridge's Alms Houses. "I dissent from £139 12s. out of the Corporation re\tenue for any debt; contracted for the Blue Coat Hospital"-Will. Owgan. • Present-Mr. 1\{ayor, Sher. French ; Alden. Jackson, Owgan, Westropp, Busteed, Philpott, Bury, 'Vetherall, Franklin, J. Smith, J. Wrixon, and Mr. . Jones, C. S. 22 Dec., 1767. That 20 guineas be paid Ald. 1\fillerd, his expenses in attending the House of Commons for money to purchase Goulnaspurra, where the Ald. was examined, and on whose examination the sum of .£1500 was granted by Parliament for the aforesaid purpose. That the thanks of this Board be hereby given to Ald. Millerd for his attendance at the House of Commons. That Lor~nzo Nickson, Esq., Brother·in-law to Rt. Hon. J. Hely Hutchin· son, H. l{. Prime Sargent, be admitted free. That £2 Ss. be paid Mr. Mayor, charges of an express to Government, concerning the murder committed by some officers in this City. Present-1\Ir. Mayor, Sher.
