COllMITTEE TO CARRY OUT TilE PIPE WATER ACT.

Lawton for the parish of Christ Church ; 1\Ir. George Randal and 1\Ir. Phil Stacpole for the parish of S. Nichola.~ ; and Dennis Callaghan, Esq., and Mr. Michrel Roberts for the parish of S. Finharry, to applot the money to be raised for erecting, lighting, trimming, &c., the lamps to be erected in the City and Suburbs. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Travers and Harding; Alden. Jackson, Philpott, Franklin, J. Wrixon, Wrixon, lfillerJ, DusteeJ, Owgan, and 1\Ir. Browne. 22 July, 1767. Ordered, that the Mayor for the time being, Adam Newman, Randal Westropp, Robt. Wrixon, Joseph 'Vetherall, Walter Travers, liugh Lawton, Henry Wrixon, Esq., 1\fr. }..rancis Carleton, Burgess, 1\:Ir. James 1\foni::;on, Burgess, Mr. Kevan lzod, Burgess, l\fr. Stephen Denroch, Burgess, 1\fr. J ohu Lapp, mer., Mr. John Latham, mer., and Wm. Snowe, gent., be a commit teo to carry out the act for supplying this City with water, and another act amending several statutes made heretofore for the better regulation of tho City of Cork so far as relates to supplying it with water. That .£20 be given the Mayor for an entertainment at :nlackrock Castle 1 Aug. next. That Kitchen furniture, pewter excepted, four dozen of mahogany chairs with black leather bottoms and brass nails, fire irons and fenders for tho dining-room and parlour, be bought for the use of the Mayoralty house. It., that .£200 be paid the Committee for building the Mayoralty house, for prosecuting the work. It., that 100 barrels of coal be bought by Ebenezer Sargent for the Cor- poration. Present- Mr. Mayor, Sher. Travers ; Ald 0 n. Westropp, Millerd, Busteed, Swete, Franklin, J. Wrixon, J. Smith, Philpott, and Mr. Browne. 18 .Aug., 1767. Ordered, that .£16 17 s. 9.d. be paid Henry W rixon, Esq., and Mr. Wm. Butler, to be laid out in cutting the piles and lowering the pavement round the piers of the North Bridge, according to an estimate. It., .£19. 6s. 9.d. to lfr. Edmond Browning for English and Irish News- papers and English votes supplied to 24 June next. 103-2
