ADMISSION OF FREEMEN.

the Public street from the North West corner of the Exchange to South Gate Bridge. That Francis Wise, tanner, eldest son of Thomas Wise, butcher, dec., be admitted free. That £6 9s. 1ld. be paid "\Vm. Rogers, brazier, for weights, scales, and measures for the market. That the Gateage tolls (except turf, furze, timber in faggots, &c.), Fish Market, Corn Market, North and South Milk 1.farket dues, &c., be Ret to cant, the person taking said customs shall deposit in the hands of the ~fayor one quarter part of said rent. That a salary of £60 be paid the Waterbailiff to receive the Mayor's dues, deducting Deputy's and other charges, giving sufficient security. ' That the Lamps to be erected in this City be lighted from 24 Aug. inst., / to 24 April next, instead of from 15 Aug. to 15 April That .£8 16s. 3d. be paid 1.1r. 2 Sep., 1766. Ordered, that £400 be borrowed at interest to discharge the Corporation Bond to the Trustees of the North Infirmary. That 5 guineas be paid P..evd. Michrel Tisdal, Corporation Chaplain, for as many sermons. That Sir Michrel Cox, Bart., eldest son of Sir Richd. Cox, Bart, ck. ; Thomas, eldest son of Henry Vereker, Esq., dec.; and Joseph Shadwell, apothecary, having served Andrew Peace, do., be admitted freemen at large.
