APPLOTTERS FOR THE MONEY FOR LIGHTING, ETC., THE LAMPS.

That Edward Hicks, mercht., having served Noblet Breton, do., and Robt. Rumble, butcher, having served Thomas Williams, do., be admitted free. Ordered, that Mr. Mayor, Sher. Rowland, Ald. Millerd and Wetherall, attended by the Dep. Clerk of the Council, do wait on Benj. Pike, and desire that he will lay before them his several deeds by which he claims a right to any fishery in the river Lee, and report. That £4 be paid Mr. John Wood for one year's rent of the Guard-house, Blackpool. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Rowland; Alden. Jackson, Parker, Owgan, W estropp, Smith, Bury, W etherall, Franklin, Travers, and Mr. Browne. 23 J-une, 1766. Ordered, that a state of the Corporation Case relative to the North and South fisherys of this City, formerly mortgaged by this Corporation to Ald. William Skiddie, be prepared by the _Town Clerk, and laid before the Prime Sergeant for his advice. Present-Mr. Mayor, Sher. Rowland ; Alden. Jackson, Owgan, Westropp, Wrixon, Swete, Wetherall, John Wrixon, Travers, and Mr. Browne, and Mr. c. s. 12 July, 1766. We, the Mayor, &c., of the City of Corke,. do. hereby nominate and appoint Mr. Hugh Jameson and Mr. Edwd. Scott for the parish of S. Mary Shandon ; Mr. Will. Butler and Mr. Daniel Knight for the parish of St. Peter; Mr. Peter Ardowin and ~- William Rickotts. for the parish of S. Paul ; Mr. Kevin Izod and Mr. Godfrey Baker for the parish of Christ Church ; Mr. James Morrison and Mr. William Fitton for the parish of S. Nicholas; and Mr. Ralph Uvedale and Mr. Saml. Lane for the parish of S. Finbarry, to be applotters to applot on the inhabitants of the City of Corke and the suburbs thereof, the money to be raised and paid for one t year from 1 Aug. next, for erecting, lighting, cleansing, trimming, snuffing, maintaining and repairing each of the lamps to be erected in this City and suburbs.
