PROPOSED CHARTER SCHOOL AT THE LOUGH. 793 order to complete said organ; It., .£12 16s. 3d. to Mr. James Chatterton, AttY., his bill of cost for attending Alden. Newman, Busteed, and Bury, several days, drawing warrants, &c., against several coopers, &c., for unlaw- ful combinations, and other disturbers of the public peace; It., .£7 18s. to the two Watchmen appointed by Mr. Mayor to guard the ground at the Lough from trespassers. That Mr. George Sealy, mercht., be admitted free; Robt. Walker, Esq., M.P. for Dundalk, who has now the charge of the Collection of the port of Corke., be presented with his freedom in a Silv:er box; and John Lindsay, gent., be admitted free. ---- Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Wrixon and Butler; Alden. Jackson, Newman, Owgan, Westropp, Bnsteed, Philpott, Bury, Wetherall, Franklin, John Wrixon, and Mr. Denroch, C. S. 24 Sep., 1765. That .£1 1 Os. 1 Od. be paid Mr. Mayor (expended over and above .£20) for X an entertainment at Blackrock Castle. Whereas this City is greatly infested with beggars and begging children, for want of a Charter School; it is therefore ordered, that a sufficient quan- tity of the Corporation ground at the Lough be granted to the Governors of the Charter Schools for erecting a Charter School thereon, and for a garden to the same, and Ald. Westropp, Sher. Wrixon and Butler, with those of the C. D. H., be a committee to prepare a plan of ground necessary for the aforesaid purposes. Present--Mr. Mayor, Sher. Wrixon and Butler; Alden.
